A few things shoe of note happened this week. Many of which took place in Europe. OK, so there is more than a few things - the world is a large and giant full of millions of people living their lives simultaneous, blahblahblah any thing of something, a Disney theme park. But, to listen to. We do not have access to photographs of these amazing shoes and killer dress you wore to dinner last night (unless you sent to us for our Top Style blogger feature * blink blink of eye, nudge nudge *), so for the purposes of storytelling, bear with me and just, you know, nod along.
So this week, some of our ladies favorite across the pond does something really interesting: pairing of girly, with coup franc-ass frilly dresses (this is how they say over there, right?) OH wait, no, it is hackers... * head retracts into the body as a turtle *), shoes woman edgy. Our girls alexa Chung, eliza doolittleand evanna Lynch show us how to run this take refreshment on the Assembly of costume.
Alexa Chung wore this ovate Chanel dress and satin bowed to the issuance of Chanel Haute Couture fall/winter 2011/2012 in Paris Tuesday (naturally). But in true Alexa Chung mode (how punny!), she had to throw in a slippery somewhere. These short of ankle snap Cap-toes with their heels to conservative and almost total block coverage are just rather modest to remain in line with the modest nice vibe that is just SO Alexa, but strange (meant the best way possible) to keep cred intact Chung Street. * golf clap *.
During the first world of Harry Potter and the relics of death: part 2 yesterday, Eliza Doolittle and Evanna Lynch matched their robes lacy pink with trans heels, black, whip cracking. Then the whole thing, pink and black has the potential to be a little sk8er boi, breathtaking start / look at my anarchy "tattoo" I've done with Sharpie!, these Brits little he executed in just the right way. Eliza and Evanna will more light (rather than bolder) roses and opt for black with female forms curved in addition to material subtle but nevertheless sieve angst (all-the-way-up lacing on platform Eliza Christian louboutins and nailhead studs for heels Evanna trans).
